Our Story
Servicing Families since 1977
Chapman Funeral Home was founded in 1977 by Grady and Pat Chapman. We have serviced thousands of families in Alexander County and the surrounding areas for 43 years. Even though Grady and Pat are no longer with us their legacy lives on. We strive to not only meet the needs of our families but to go above and beyond their wishes. We are working each day to raise the standards of Chapman Funeral Home while lowering prices to better assist our loyal families and community we service.
Why Us?
In a nutshell? Experience, professionalism, compassion, and empathy.

We've learned a lot over many years. Like how to present options without overwhelming. And how to meet the needs of many caring parties. People come to us in difficult times, and we respond with kindness, calmness and expertise. Our goal is to create a beautiful occasion and make you feel welcome, always. We spend our days planning with families. We stay up to date with industry developments. And we make hard times a little easier.
Learn the legacy.
