Robert Eugene Henderson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert Eugene Henderson, age 62, of 122 Cam-A-Will Circle, Stony Point, passed away, Friday July 17, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston Salem after two months illness. He was born on March 23, 1947 in Iredell County, to Marvin Henderson and Fannie Mitchell Henderson of Statesville. He was a graduate of Statesville High School Class of 1965. He was a draftsman for thirty seven years at Kewaunee Scientific of Statesville. He was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge in Statesville and was a member of Friendship Lutheran Church and was Assistant Scoutmaster and he was in the hand bell choir and evangelism committee. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of forty one years, Judy Fox Henderson of the home; one daughter, Robin Rogowski and husband Mark of Stony Point; one brother, David Henderson and wife Karen of Easley, SC; two sisters, Shelby Hager and husband Jim, Patricia Lubel and husband Robert all of Statesville; grandchildren, Amanda Stewart, Joshua Cope and Sarah Cope; step grandchildren, Marianne Rogowski, Walter Rogowski all of Statesville; Nephews and Nieces, Traci Moody of Plantation, FL., Amy Dalton of Statesville, Kelli Cash of Scotts, Carey Lynn Balok of Huntersville, Nathan Henderson of Easley, SC, James Marvin Hager of Statesville, Andrew Fox of Cornelius; special aunt and uncle, Jay and Nettie McCoy. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30pm Monday July 20, 2009 at Friendship Lutheran Church. Rev. Todd Rauscher and Rev. Phil Thorsen will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:15pm at the church prior to the funeral. Memorials may be given to Friendship Lutheran Church Family Life Center, 5300 Church Road, Taylorsville, NC 28681
