Juanita “Jane” Hanrahan McDanel, 87 of Hiddenite passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at her residence. Jane was born Tuesday, November 27, 1932 in Ottumwa, Iowa to the late Edward Albert Hanrahan and Dorothy Hull Hanrahan. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by, her husband, Richard Duane McDanel, and one grandson, James McDanel Jr. Jane is survived by, four sons, Richard McDanel, of Charlotte, Greg McDanel (Tracey), of Monroe, James Darin McDanel Sr. (Michelle), of Newton, and John McDanel (Lisa), of Castatila, two daughters, Sheila McNeil (David), of GA, and Theresa McDanel (Ashley Moretz), of Bethlehem, twelve grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. A Private Family Memorial Services will be conducted.
