David Lee Teaster, age 56 of 3967 Hickory Hwy, Statesville, passed away Saturday December 18, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born May 5, 1954 in Iredell County to the late Gothard Easley Teaster and Nell Frances Benfield Teaster. Mr. Teaster worked as a truck driver and a handyman. He is survived by two brothers, Harold Teaster and Carl Teaster; four sisters, Hattie Fulton, Mary Pruitt, Nancy Martin, and Martha Poole all of Statesville. Services will be private.
