Pamela Lee Price

It is with deep love and immeasurable sorrow that we honor the life of Pamela Lee Price, a woman who embodied strength and grace it is purest form. Pam as we knew her, born June 23, 1959, in Greensboro, NC, left this world to enter into eternal rest on Saturday, March 28, 2026, surrounded by love and the memories of a life beautifully lived. She was the daughter of the late William H. Lee (Bill) and Norma Lee. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L Price, as well as her daughter, Elizabeth Lee Skeens. Pam was the epitome of strength and grace. She was a mother to all. She was the kind of person whose presence brought comfort, whose care extended far beyond obligation, and whose love left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Pam devoted her life to serving others through her work as a healthcare administrator, answering a calling that reflected the very core of who she was: compassionate, selfless, and endlessly giving. Caring for people was not just what she did, but who she was. Day to day, she found joy in being around others. She loved answering the call to any adventure that showed in her path; she loved getting out, being present, and sharing life with the people she loved. There was a warmth about her that drew people in. It was a quiet understanding that you were seen, heard, and cared for in her presence. If sadness ever caught her, it was the beach where she found peace. A place that became a constant thread woven through her family’s life. She practically raised her children there, returning each weekend, creating memories filled with salt air, laughter, and togetherness. It was more than a place to her; it was where she taught her children how to rest, how to breathe, and where to go when their souls grew weary. But above all else, she would always tell you that motherhood was her true life calling. That role alone defined her heart and shaped her entire world. At least, she thought, until she gained the title of “Nina”. She was loved fiercely by her five grandchildren. In them, she found a new kind of joy, a love that truly expanded everything she had already given. Pam was our strength in our hardest moments, grace in every circumstance, and love in its most unwavering form. She was a steady light for her family, guiding them home no matter how far they wandered. Those left to carry the enormous legacy of her love and life include her brother, William R. Lee of Salisbury; her son, Kevin Skeens of Statesville; her daughter, Heather (Jason) of Taylorsville; and her grandchildren Destinee Shook, Landon and Bryson Skeens, and Teagan and Kyle Oland. Pam would not have wanted a traditional farewell. Instead she would ask those mourning her to run, run to the beach, sink your feet in the sand, and let the waves meet your sorrows. Rest your soul where she always found hers, and if you need to cry, let it come in rhythm with the ocean; knowing that in every tide, in every breath of salt air, a part of her remains. Her legacy will continue to inspire, comfort and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.
