Richard Glenn “Ricky” Tedder, 51, of Bayou La Batre, Alabama, formerly of Hiddenite, passed away Monday November 3, 2008 at his home. He was born September 3, 1957, in Fort Bragg, NC to the late Bobby Perry Tedder and Lorraine Coffey Tedder of Hiddenite. He was a graduate of Alexander Central High School, a Shrimp Boat Worker and a former member of Linneys Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Patrick “Chucky” Tedder. He is survived by one son, Ryan Yerhot; and one daughter, Regan Robbins and husband Tim both of Minnesota; four sisters, Sherry Pritchard of Hiddenite, Debra DeShane and husband Donald, Crystal Tedder both of Frazier Falls, NY, Tammy Welch of Indiana; and three grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday November 8, 2008 at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Horton will officiate. The family will have no formal visitation although; the family will assemble at the home of his mother at 7204 Millersville Road, Hiddenite.
