Helen Warren Taylor, age 87 of 2120 Willow Ridge Rd., Charlotte passed away Sunday May 16, 2010 at Regency Retirement Village in Charlotte after an extended illness. She was born June 16, 1922 in Alexander County to the late Pleas Warren and Ruby Martin Warren. Mrs. Taylor retired from Kimbrell’s Furniture as their credit manager after 39 years of service. She was also a member of Sharon Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Taylor; and one sister.
She is survived by two sisters, Christine Beckham of Stony Point, and Alice Warren Childres of Taylorsville; and a number of nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be conducted 4:00pm Tuesday May 18, 2010 at the Stony Point Cemetery. Rev. Phil Addison will officiate. The family will have no formal visitation.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region – Attn: Development Department – 1420 East Seventh Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
