Tony Alton Sigmon, 51, of 2217 Island Ford Road, Statesville, passed away, Saturday August 16, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born on November 19, 1956, in Iredell County, to the late James Ray Sigmon and Shirley Pope Sigmon of the home.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his four brothers, Larry Sigmon and wife Sandra, Wayne Sigmon, Patrick Sigmon all of Statesville, and Phillip Sigmon and wife Nancy of Catawba.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday August 20, 2008 at 11:00am at Friendship Lutheran Church Cemetery. Rev. Buster Treadway will be officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm at Chapman Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Tony Sigmon Fund, 2217 Island Ford Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
