Simplicio Sanchez-Lopez, 34, of Hiddenite, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Hiddenite due to an automobile accident. He was born July 29, 1975 in Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Emiliano Sanchez and Maria Lopez. He worked at Fortner Lumber Company and attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church. |
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lopez of Statesville; one son, Noe Sanchez of Mexico; three brothers; and five sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00pm Friday October16, 2009 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Father James Byers will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00–3:00pm at the church prior to the funeral; and also a visitation from 5:00-7:00pm at Chapman Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Mexico.
