Clarence Arthur “Randy” Randolph, 88, of 158 Randolph Farm Road, Statesville, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Iredell Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born September 4, 1920 in Kannapolis to the late Clyde C Randolph and Minnie Spencer Randolph. Mr. Randolph was retired from the US Army, a WWII veteran and a Pearl Harbor survivor with the Cannon Company 21st Infantry. He was commissioned by the Honolulu Police Dept. as a body guard. He was a brick mason by trade. He was also a member the Masonic Lodge #593 and the American Legion.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Lynn Randolph; one brother, Chenee Randolph; and one sister, Eunice Owens.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Moose Randolph of the home; one son, Michael Randolph and wife Ronda of Statesville; one daughter, Pam Price of Stony Point; grandchildren: Tonya Little and husband Heath, Lynne Morrow, Christy Estes and husband Matt, Jamie Peoples and husband Michael, Ashley Price and wife Natalie; great grandchildren: Skylar and Celeste Little, Madalyn Morrow, Walker Estes, Bryson Peoples and Ashlyn Price.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Tuesday August 11, 2009 at Stony Point United Methodist Church. Rev. Sidney Norton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Marvin Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30pm at the church prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers include: Jerry Mayberry, Alan Beasley, Tommy Moose, Roger Moose, Matthew Waugh and Mark Carter.

Memorials may be given to Hospice Palliative Care Center of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625

We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Charlene Knight, Sina Brown, LeAnn Darty, Rev. Tom Corbell, Justine, Anna, Haley, Shawna, Jane, Regina, Donna, Ronda, Darlene, Karen, Denise, Jessica, Annette, Beth, Shelby, Danielle, Nancy, Jael, Lisa, Jeremy, Kendayl, and all the others on the fourth floor of Iredell Memorial Hospital, we will never forget you for all of your kindness.
