William Jeffrey “Jeff” Parker, age 53 of Troutman passed away Saturday March 27, 2010 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born November 15, 1956 in Bessemer, Alabama to William H Parker and Barbara Laird Cook. He attended Bayside High School in Virginia Beach, Va. Jeff was a welder-fabricator at Autec in Statesville, NC. He had previously worked for McCombs Steele.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Teresa Weldon Parker, whom he married November 21, 1975, of the home; one son, Sean Parker and Tiffany; one daughter, Jessica Parker all of Statesville; two brothers, Darryl Parker of Hawaii and Scott Parker of Virginia Beach, VA.; one sister, Valerie Loveless also of Virginia Beach, VA.; five grandchildren, Re’shon Gore, Gillian Gore, Talea Parker, Dameon Parker, and Megan Parker.
An outdoor memorial service will be conducted 5:00pm Friday April 2, 2010 at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Statesville. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Teresa Parker c/o Tracy Brown, P.O. Box 143, Barium Springs, NC 28010.
