Margaret Viola Myers Morrison, 82, of 3386 Old Mountain Rd, Stony Point, passed away, Friday November 14, 2008 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was born November 16, 1925, in Iredell County to the late Elam A. Myers, Sr. and Luna Baker Myers. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Myers and Muriel Childers.

Her survivors include her husband, Bill R. Morrison of the home; one brother, E. A. Myers, Jr. of Winston Salem; two sisters, Wanda Adcox and Dorothy Rhyne both of Statesville. A Graveside service will be conducted 3:00pm Sunday November 16, 2008 at Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Mike Duncan will be officiating. The family will have no formal visitation. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Iredell County 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.
