Matthew Charles Morgan, age 7 weeks, of 207 Dishman Family Dr., Statesville, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born June 3, 2008, in Iredell County to Amanda Morgan.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his brothers, Cody Keith Wagoner and Damien Diles; step father James Moten; Maternal grandparents, Lisa Morgan and Randy Burks; Step paternal grandparents, Windy James and Stanley Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Paulette Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hiddenite Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-6:30pm at Chapman Funeral Home.
