Doris Annas McNeely 64, of 424 Carrigan Road, Taylorsville, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at her home. She was born April 7, 1945 in Iredell County to the late John Annas and Junnie Estes Annas. She was a textile worker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Richard Beam; one daughter, Donna McNeely; two sisters, Margie Annas and Joanne Lingle; one brother, Maynard Annas; one step brother, Allen Estes.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Ray McNeely of the home; one son, Dennis Scott McNeely of Taylorsville; two daughters, Kathy Loudermelk and husband Andy of Taylorsville, Julie Payne of Statesville; one sister, Betty Cannon of Bethlehem; thirteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Taylorsville Church of God. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the funeral hour. Rev. Mark Albertino will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Little River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday June 26, 2009 from 7:00-8:30pm at Chapman Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Alexander County 50 Lucy Echerd Lane, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
