Henry Junior McLelland, age 73, of 17 Jaycee Park Road, Taylorsville, passed away, Sunday September 20, 2009 at his home, after an extended illness. He was born on December 5, 1935 in Alexander County to the late Henry McLelland and Mary Morrison McLelland. He ran an auto paint shop in Taylorsville for many years.

He is survived by his sister, Emma L Wellman of Hiddenite; and a number of nephews and nieces.

Memorial services will be conducted 4:00pm Friday September, 25, 2009 at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sterling Howard will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00pm at the funeral home prior to the funeral hour.
