Charles Tobie Lambert, age 66 of 103 Hillcrest Circle, Liberty, SC, passed away Monday April 12, 2010 at Brians Center East in Hickory. He was born July 1, 1943 in Iredell County to the late Clarence Lambert and Carrie Grant Lambert. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Steila Lambert; two brothers, Thomas Lambert and Clarence Lambert, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra McMahan Lambert of the home; one daughter, Dana Holland of Harmony; three step sons; two brothers, Grady Lambert of Hickory and Boyce Lambert of Statesville; two sisters, Pauline Stewart and Lillian Cloer both of Statesville; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and one step great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Friday April 16, 2010 at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dale Faulkenberry will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the funeral service at Chapman Funeral Home and other times at the home of Pauline Stewart, 390 Scotts Creek Road.
