Linda Clanton Kuntz, 67, of 4787 Black Oak Ridge Road, Taylorsville, passed away Monday August 17, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born June 6, 1942 in Wilkes County to the late Carl Clanton and Mary Faye Laws Clanton. Mrs. Kuntz was a machine operator in a knitting mill and later years was a homemaker. She was also of the Baptist faith. |
Survivors include one son, James David Taylor of Taylorsville; two daughters, Emma Faye Kinzel of Boise Idaho, Teresa Downs of Taylorsville; two brothers, Ralph Clanton of Albemarle and David Clanton of Hiddenite; three sisters, Ruth Shew of Wilkesboro, Virginia Lackey of Denver, NC and Judy Williamson of Stony Point; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.

| Linda was my sister and a beautiful human being. She was so sick for such a long time and I know she is now in Heaven with Mom and Dad. This is what makes her death bearable.
