Judith Carol Jones, 62, of 4452 Enoch Dr. Sherrills Ford, went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 30, 2008, at Charlotte Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on January 3, 1946, in McDowell County, WV, to Clifford Vernon Barnett Sr and Oma Marie Honaker Barnett of Atwell WV. She worked as a Hairdresser and a Home Health Care Provider. She was also a member of Atwell West Virginia Church of God. |
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a son, Scotty Ray Street.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy William Jones of the home; one son, William Ray Street and wife June of Statesville; two brothers, Clifford Vernon Barnett Jr. and wife Michele of Sherrills Ford and James Darrell Barnett and wife Layla of Atwell, WV; one sister, Nancy Fern Altizer and husband Max Huffman of Peterstown, WV; grandchildren: Adam Burton of Jolo, WV and Makala Jackson of Jacksonville, FL; along with many nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be conducted at Thursday July 3, 2008 at North Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 2504 North Oak Ridge Baptist Church Rd, Booneville, NC at 7:00pm. Mrs. Jones nephew, Pastor John Altizer will officiate.
