| Brenda Barnette and all family-
So sorry to read of Mrs. Howard's passing. Her picture reminded me of how lovely she was - both outside and in.

| I'm really blessed to have gotten to meet and take care of Miss Hessie. She truly was a blessing to me. I'll never forget our talks and prayers we shared. This is for you, Gayle. "God saw I was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around me and said 'Come with me.' With tearful eyes you watched and saw me fade away; although you loved me dearly, you could not make me stay. My heart has stopped beatin,g my hands have come to rest. God broke your hearts to show you, I needed eternal rest." Hope this gives you comfort like it did with me when my mom went home to be with God!!! Love you all.

My prayers are with the family at this time. I know the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit is with them, and feel blessed to have met Mrs. Howard through her inspiring daughter Juanita.

I had the great pleasure of taking care of Mrs. Howard for a short time two years ago. Every morning I would have to drink a cup of coffee with her because she said that it was too early to be awake without coffee. At the time I really didn't like coffee, but she didn't know that, and besides who ever told Hessie no? To this day, I still eat oatmeal cookies and coffee to this day. Everyone who knew her will miss her.

Please accept our condolences. There will be rough days ahead but rest assured that she is at peace now. No more suffering and BEST of all Eternal Life with God.
