In loving memory of Ruth Ann Hertzler, 69, of Granite Falls, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, June 26, 2008 at her home. She was born on August 10, 1938, in Norristown, PA, to the late Charles W. Rowe and Ruth Hendricks Rowe. She graduated from Norristown High School and worked for the Norristown school system for 7 years. After moving to Taylorsville, she was a homemaker then worked with her husband and sons at SPCM Machining and KDS Fabrication until her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Samuel H. Hertzler Jr.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her four sons, Keith Allen Hertzler and wife Sue, Kevin Bruce Hertzler and wife Myra, Kenneth Craig Hertzler and wife Tonia, Kyle William Hertzler and wife Tina; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Ann, Kurtis Charles, Lauren Olivia, Tyler Matthew, Kendall William, Miranda Danielle, Amber Louise and Maura Anne.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Alexander County, 50 Lucy Echerd Lane, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
