Ronald Dwight Henderson, age 54, of 803 Newbern Avenue, Statesville, passed away, Monday July 13, 2009 at Iredell Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born on February 3, 1955 in Iredell County, to Margaret Campbell Riddle of Troutman and the late Gurney Dwight Henderson. He worked 25 years at American Stainless Steel Tubing Inc. as a machine operator. He was also a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church. |
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Janice Marie Dickens Henderson of the home; one daughter, Angela H. Matheson of Lenoir; three sisters, Debra McKellar of SC, Donna Riddle of Troutman, Robin Riddle of Troutman; three grandchildren, Bradley, Zachary and Jessica.
Funeral services will be conducted 5:00pm Thursday July 16, 2009 at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ricky Hamrick will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00-5:00pm at Chapman Funeral Home.
