Ernest Harvey Henderson, age 81 of 6331 Wilkesboro Hwy., Union Grove passed away Wednesday July 21, 2010 at Avante Nursing Center in Wilkesboro, after an extended illness. He was born February 4, 1929 in Iredell County to the late Perlie Henderson and Lunda Shoemaker Henderson. Mr. Henderson was a truck driver.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Duckworth Henderson.

He is survived by one daughter, Sheila D’Autevil of Union Grove.

A graveside service will be conducted 2:00pm Friday July 23, 2010 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
