Faye Head Hager, age 64 of 524 Cove Gap Rd., Statesville passed away Wednesday January 13, 2010 at her home after a brief illness. She was born September 6, 1945 in Iredell County to the late Stamey Wesley Head and Martha Lambert Head. She was the owner of Hager’s Rental and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Earley Hager, Jr.; two brothers, L. G. Head and Wesley Head; three sisters, Blanch Moore, Elsie Stroud and Hazel Cloer.
She is survived by her two daughters, Edith Byers and husband Ryan and Earlene McNeely and husband Joe; two brothers, Ralph Head and James Head and wife Dot; one sister, Gladys Hager and husband Clarence all of Statesville; five grandchildren, Ben McNeely, Erin McNeely, Ken Byers, Walker Byers and Emma Byers.
A graveside service will be conducted 2:00pm Sunday January 17, 2010 at Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jim Snead will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:30pm Saturday January 16, 2010 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.

im so very sorry to hear about faye was a good person and i loved her too she was so good to me when i lived in the trailer park ill miss her alot she helped me out alot when i got really bad sick and couldnt work for a while ill never forget that me & my wife & kids are so very sorry and god bless you both
