William C. “Bill” Goodman age 68 of 1460 Smith Farm Rd., Stony Point, passed away Friday May 1, 2009 at Mapleleaf Healthcare. He was born on January 21, 1941 in Iredell County, to the late Virgil M Goodman and Ila Cleo Bradford Goodman. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Allen Goodman; and sisters, Patsy Herron and June Parker. He is survived by his brother, Ross Goodman of Statesville; sister, Doris Setzer of Conover; a number of nephews, nieces and special friends. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00pm on Monday May 4, 2009 at the Stony Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at Chapman Funeral Home. .
