Spainhour “Bo” “The Apple Man” Eller, Jr. age 86 of 6773 NC 16 Hwy. N., Taylorsville passed away Tuesday May 18, 2010 at his home. He was born November 16, 1923 in Caldwell County to the late Spainhour Eller, Sr. and Lilly Annie Whisanant Eller. Mr. Eller served in the US Army during WWII. He retired from Clayton Marcus Furniture and was a produce Farmer. He was also a member of Victory Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Rozona Hubbard Eller; five brothers, R. E. “Bill” Eller, James Calvin Eller, Marshall Willis “Tomb” Eller, Daniel Either Eller, Jr., and Herman Dwayne Eller; two sisters, Bessie Ann Eller and Martha A. D. Eller, Jr.
He is survived by a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Friday May 21, 2010 at Victory Baptist Church. Pastor Phillip Coffey will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Military rites will be provided by the VFW post #10000 and VFW post #5466. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday evening at Victory Baptist Church.
