Dear Drye Family,
May the good Lord comfort you in this time of great loss. Dan was a fine man and valued co-worker. We had many conversations and I greatly enjoyed his company. I admired him and his values. He was always thoughtful and considerate. Dan would go the extra mile to help you and he will be sorely missed!
Sincerely,
Chuck Philyaw |
I am so sorry about Dan. Just about every time I went to Kincaid we would talk. Very seldom about business, mostly about family things. The most recent being about where did I get my hearing aids. He loved to talk about the boys and the things they were doing. I will greatly miss our visits and I know his family will miss him as well.

I just saw Dan this past Thursday. It's nearly impossible for me to get a grasp of the fact that Dan is no longer here. I'm still in shock after being told by Tim Annas that Dan was gone. I've always admired Dan. I've always enjoyed working with him. He's been a good friend to me and to many others. I wish I knew something to say to comfort you and your family but I have no earthly idea. I enjoyed meeting you when I worked at American Drew and was so happy for you when you and Dan married. You seemed like such a good match. I know you'll miss him and this year will be tough but just know he really loved you. You could tell when he talked about you. I always asked him about how you were doing. You could see it in his eyes. You, Dan and your family will be in our prayers. Warmest regards ... Michael Hollar

We would like to extend to you our deepest sympathy. We realize that loosing your dad so suddenly is very hard. Jerry's mom passed away several years ago very unexpectedly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this sad time. We will be remembering you in the days ahead.

Dear Deb and family,
I heard the bad news yesterday, Sunday, from Horton. I just don't know what to say. Even though we haven't seen one another in quite some time, I still consider you guys family. I guess it's just that way after you've known and worked with people you really care about. I certainly thought alot of Dan and his often "Drye" sence on humor. We had some hard days and some very enjoyable days around PDC during the "HARRIS" erro. And it's very true, it WAS a lot like "basic training", but I wouldn't trade them days for anything. Just know that you're in our thoughts and prayers. May GOD grant you "PEACE that surpasseth all understanding". I won't be able to make the survice on Tuesday, but I will be thinking of you and hope to see you "down the road" soon.
GOD Bless,

I am so very sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. He was such a joy to work with. My name is Vanessa Miller and I worked with Dan at Kincaid Furniture. He answered so many questions for my department. He was such a vital part of what we do and he was so easy to work with. He was the same every day. If he had a bad day you would never know it he didn’t let it show. I will be praying for you that God will give you grace to get through this difficult time. I will miss Dan very much.
