Sherri Dawn Rash Dezern, age 48 of 86 Blanch Gwaltney Dr., Taylorsville passed away Saturday April 9, 2010 at her home. She was born October 2, 1961 in Iredell County to Rev. Mitchell Rash and Sandra Heath Rash of Stony Point. She worked in Industrial Manufacturing. She was musically talented and a charter member of Victory Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Eugene Rash.
In addition to her parents she is survived by one son, Aaron Dezern of Charlotte; one daughter, Ashley Dezern Fine of Statesville; one brother, Paul Rash and wife Stephanie of Stony Point; one sister, Lisa R. Hodges of Statesville; and one grandchild, Gracin Tyler Fine.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Tuesday April 13, 2010 at Victory Baptist Church. Rev. Mitchell Rash and Rev. Ike Branham will officiate. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the funeral hour. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30pm Monday evening at Chapman Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to the Victory Baptist Church 1074 Midway Road, Statesville, NC 28625.

I am so sorry about the loss of your mom.....I'm sure you will miss her. I'll always remember how it blessed me when she came in to Walmart when I worked there and we would talk about our sons....she was so proud of you and loved you very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
