Lee Wallace Davis, 65, of 120 Bolick Road, Stony Point, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008, at his home. He was born January 16, 1943, in Schuyler County, NY to the late Charles Davis and Sarian Wright Davis. Mr. Davis was a farmer and attended Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Davis and Calvin Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Connie V. Davis; three sons, Lee Davis II and wife Amiee of Statesville, R.C. Davis and wife Dawn of Englehardt, Terry Davis and wife Cherilyn of Statesville; two daughters, Tammy Davis Guo of Statesville, Rose Turney of Oakland, MD.; one sister, Cherry Wojtanik and husband Rocky of NY; ten grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2008 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Rev. Brian Eades will officiate. The family will have no formal visitation.In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to The Hospice of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
