Chloe Peavyhouse Curtin, 77, of 144 West Iredell Circle, Statesville, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008, at her home. She was born on April 2, 1931, in Rhea County, TN to the late Hugh Peavyhouse and Lona Webb Peavyhouse. Mrs Curtin was a homemaker and of the baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred A Curtin, Sr.; one brother, Ray Marion Peavyhouse; one sister, Nila Kay Peavyhouse and one great grandson, Luke Lee Curtin.

She is survived by two sons, Fred A Curtin, Jr. and wife Betty of Statesville, Thomas A Curtin of Soddy-Daisey, TN; two daughters, Judy Sanders and husband Robert of Statesville, Renee Speece and husband Pat of Statesville; one brother, Charles Edwin Peavyhouse and wife Eula Mae of Hixson, TN; one sister, Margurite Millican and husband Mel of Dalton, GA.; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday September 28, 2008, at 11:00am at Williamson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Soddy-Daisey, TN. Rev Donnie Dingus will officiate. Burial will follow in the Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Williamson & Son Funeral Home.
