To the Crawford family:
I send my deepest regrets and sympathies in the passing of Jimmy. He was a friend to me and my family alot of years ago at Stony Point Baptist Church. He and I spent time together playing as young boys, and buddies as teens. I will miss him as I know you will. I have not seen Jimmy in several years but that does not lessen my sorrow.
My prayers are with you. Sincerely, Gary Comer
I am writing to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I was so very sad to hear about Jim, he was such a wonderful man. I had the honor and the pleasure to know Jim and I was very sorry to hear about his passing away. I only knew him the last 3 years, but he always treated me with the utmost respect. Jim and I had shared a few lunches together and I loved to hear some of his stories. He was a kind and sweet man when I was around him. I work at the Iredell Library and Jim spent a lot of time here, and he was always welcome, he never had a bad word to say to anyone, and if he saw that I might need an extra hand he was always willing to help. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers tonight. And I will always remember Jim with a smile.
God Bless you. Dottie Smith
