Harold Raymond Cook 73, of 837 Mt Wesley Church Road, Hiddenite, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born January 13, 1936 in Buchanan County, VA to the late Walter Clyde Cook and Georgia Bowers Cook. He retired after nineteen and a half years in the US Marine Corp and also retired from Schneider Mills. He was of the Pentecostal faith. |
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Brown Cook of the home; one daughter, Teresa Hinkle and husband Johnny of Lexington; three brothers, James William Cook and wife Margie of Norfolk, VA, Thomas Harvey Cook and wife Beverly of Hampton, VA, David Gene Cook and wife Elsa of Maxie, VA; one sister, Juanita Cook Deskins and husband Vernon of Richmond, VA.
Cremation has been arranged and no funeral services are planned at this time.
