I knew Paul for years as a referee/umpire. I grew up seeing him at the ball fields while my dad played ball, then I had the chance to work with him as an adult. Paul always made me smile and he always put his all into every game. I haven't seen him in a few years but I know I will miss him and he will truly be missed in the world of softball & basketball!! May God bless you during this difficult time.

| To Paula and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. God saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be, So he put his arms around you And whispered, "Come to me." With tearful eyes, we watched you And saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard-working hands at rest, God Broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. May God be with you in you time of need.

| Chapman Family,
Paul Chapman was one of the finest, most honest men I have ever known. I knew him as an umpire when playing softball and became friends when Paul and my late husband, Bob Patterson, umpired together. He always had a smile and something light hearted to say. The sports world as well as his community and family are so fortunate because of Paul Chapman being on this earth. I know God welcomed him with open arms. My prayers are for you during this difficult time. God bless each of you.

| What a great man Paul was, and I enjoyed every minute of knowing him, especially when we umpired games together. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you as you go through the event of his death. May God give you all assurance that Paul is in the hands of God, and that someday we will all be reunited. May the Lord bless and keep each of you.

| After going to Stony Point Tabernacle tonight, I need not say a word about your Dad, as actions speak louder than words. The people, flowers and family said it all. Your Mom & Dad were so respected and loved in the community and the contributions they made in their lives will never be forgotten. Just wanted you to know you are all in my prayers and I truly love you all. I am honored that your Mom was my first cousin and again honored when your Dadbecame a part of the family as well. My Dad and Mom highly respected them, both as family and friend. I send my love as well as my prayers.
