Lucy Bowman Chapman, 62, of 124 J. R. Court, Reidsville, passed away, Wednesday February 18, 2009 at High Point Regional Hospital. She was born February 11, 1947, in Dickenson County, VA to Iowa Edwards Bowman of Harmony and the late Hargadine Bowman. She was a furniture worker and in shipping. She was also of the baptist faith.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her second husband, Allen Chapman; and one great grandchild, Alzea Bare.

In addition to her mother she is survived by one son, Chuck Isenhour or Taylorsville; four daughters, Misty Miller of Advance, Angie Shaver of VA, Brandy Isenhour of Reidsville, Melinda Isenhour of Reidsville; four brothers, Fairy Bowman, Larry Bowman, Raymond Bowman and Ike Bowman all of VA; five sisters, Clara Miller of N. Wilkesboro, Betty Chapman of Drexel, Carrie Branham of Harmony, Mamie Dunford of Troutman, Jenny Stanley of VA; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday February 21, 2009 at Victory Baptist Church. Rev. Mitchell Rash will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 1:00-2:00pm at the church prior to the funeral service.
