Jerry Bryan Chapman, age 48, of 448 Sixth St. NW, Taylorsville, went home to be with his Lord, Wednesday July 1, 2009 at Catawba Valley Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born on December 23, 1960 in Iredell County, to Lucy King Chapman of Stony Point and the late Jack Chapman. He worked at Craftmaster for twenty three years. He was also a member of New Beginning Christian Fellowship Church.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Marty Chapman.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Bridges and husband Matthew of Swannanoa; one brother, Craig Chapman and wife Barbara of Statesville; one sister, Dawn Chapman of Stony Point; one grandson, Joseph Bridges; a granddaughter on the way; nephews, Zack Chapman and Cole Chapman; nieces, Brittany Chapman and Heather Dagenhart; and his special friend, Trish.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Saturday July 4, 2009 at New Beginning Fellowship Church. Rev. Chuck Hager will officiate. Burial will be follow in the Stony Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at the church.
Memorials may be given to Alexander County PSR, 641 West Main St., Taylorsville, NC 28681 .

My dad was a very good man. I loved him so much and I know he meant alot to everyone. He will truly be missed, but I'm glad to know he's waiting for us all in heaven.
