Woodrow Stevenson Campbell, age 53, of Mocksville, passed away, Tuesday June 1, 2010 at his home, after a sudden illness. He was born on August 25, 1956 in Iredell County, to the late Lealdon V. Campbell and Eloise Speaks Campbell. He was a retired construction worker. He was also of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Wally Evelyn Campbell.

He is survived by three brothers, Albert Campbell of Winston Salem, Charles Campbell of Statesville, and Willie John Campbell of Union Grove; four sisters, Becky Campbell of Union Grove, Betty Borre of Winston Salem, Maudie Lou Cranfield of Statesville, Julia Scott of Statesville.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday June 5, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church in Union Grove. Rev. Steve Pope and Rev. Jacob Scott will officiate. Burial will be follow in the Campbell Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm at the church prior to the funeral hour.
