Elizabeth Cagle “Lizzie” Bryant, 78, of 3412 Three Forks Church Rd, Taylorsville, passed away, Sunday August 3, 2008 at her home. She was born on June 16, 1930 in Waynesville, NC, to the late Will Cagle and Mattie Cagle. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Bryant; one daughter, Eva Bryant; three brothers, Arlie Cagle, Carl Cagle and Ben Cagle; two sisters, Tessie Mae Carol and Mamie Cagle. She is survived by her sons, Henry Bryant and wife Mary Lou (very special daughter in law) of Taylorsville, Donald Bryant of Taylorsville, David Bryant of Greenville, SC, Eugene Bryant of Stony Point; one daughter, Kathy Starnes and husband Roger of Taylorsville; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Private services will be conducted at a later date.

I(Loraine) read about Henry's mom passing away on the Taylorsville Times' website. We keep up with things going on down there that way. We are sorry for the loss.
