Doffice Lee Branham, 61, of 115 Crider Road, Statesville, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday August 7, 2008 at his home. He was born on June 6, 1947, in Dickson County, VA, to the late Stiles Branham and Luria Mullins Branham. He worked as a plant supervisor at Kewaunee Scientific Corp. for thirty years and was also a member of VictoryBaptistChurch.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Roger Dean Branham and one brother, Mack Arthur Branham.
He is survived by two sons, Ike Branham and wife Donna of Statesville, Michael Branham of Harmony; two sisters, Salie Seaman of Lincolnton and Beulah Mullins of Clintwood, VA; two grandchildren, Tyler Ike Branham and Emma Lynne Branham.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday August 9, 2008 at 3:00pm at VictoryBaptistChurch. Rev. Mitchell Rash will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00pm-8:30pm at Chapman Funeral Home and other times at the home of the son, 136 Crider Road, Statesville.

I was so sorry to hear about Doffice passing. He meant alot to us and unfortunately we hadn't been able to keep in touch. We were just talking about him last night (before we heard the sad news). He will be deeply missed and always loved. He was like a second father to me and I just wish I had had the chance to say goodbye. You have our deepest sympathies. May God Bless you all....and we will meet again someday.
