Emily Theresa Mileska Borkowski, age 79 of 129 Cam-A-Will Circle, Stony Point passed away Friday June 18, 2010 at Iredell Memorial Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born October 16, 1930 in Suffolk County, NY to the late Charles Mileska and Emily Cybulski Mileska. Mrs. Borkowski was a homemaker. She was also member of Holy Trinity Catholic Mission. |
She was preceded in death by her husband, William John Borkowski; two sons, William Borkowski, Jr. and David Borkowski.
She is survived by three sons, Lawrence Borkowski of Mint Hill, Michael Borkowski of NY, Martin Borkowski of Statesville; one daughter, Joan Akscin of Statesville; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00am Monday June 21, 2010 at Holy Trinity Catholic Mission. Father James Byers will officiate. Burial will be 1:00pm Wednesday in the Salisbury National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00pm and The Rosary at 4:00pm Sunday afternoon at Chapman Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Iredell County 2347 Simonton Rd. Statesville, NC 28625.

| Lannie and I are so sorry to learn of Emily's death. We just saw the signs today and it is Tuesday. So upset and sorry to have missed her funeral. We loved her and Bill so very much. We just did not know she had passed away.
