Rodney Eugene Bevel, 62, of Taylorsville, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born November 25, 1946 in Oklahoma to the late Eugene Bevel and Mary Lou Bevel. He served in the United States Air Force, a Vietnam Veteran and Disabled. He was also a lifetime member of Hunting and Fishing Wildlife and attended Freedom Baptist Church several years ago.

He is survived by his sons, Nakoma Bevel and Dakota Bevel both of Nevada; five daughters, Diana Bevel Findley of Taylorsville, Mary Shannon Bevel of HI and Stephanie Bevel of NC, Lorretta Bevel and Sonny Bevel both of Nevada; two sisters, Ruth Ann of CA and Lou Ann of Nevada; twelve grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, July 13, 2009 at Salisbury National Cemetery. The Chaplain will be officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
