Alexander B. Bennett age 88, of 6506 Paul Payne Road. Taylorsville, passed away, Wednesday August 12, 2009 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 9, 1920 in Lima Peru, to the late Alejandro Rodriguez and Amelia Benites Rodriguez.

He was a retired machine operator for the Chrysler Corporation.

He is survived by one son, Alex Rodriguez of Taylorsville; and one daughter, Amelia Rodriguez of Ohio; two brothers, Guillermo Rodriguez and Gerardo Pinzas both of Peru; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
