John Thomas “Tommy” Andersen, 49, of 266 Goble Rd., Statesville, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 at Hospice of Catawba. He was born August 19, 1959 in Suffolk County, NY to the John Andersen and Gloria Deegan Andersen of Statesville. He was a carpenter and attended Horizon Church in Statesville.

He is survived by his two sisters, LeAnn McHargue and husband Mike, Nancy Childress and husband Wayne all of Statesville; and two nephews and three nieces.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:oo pm on Saturday January 24, 2009 at Horizon Church in Statesville. There will be no formal visitation.
